More high speed destruction.
DR Nu
To promote the new web based live TV player, DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) produced this stylish TV spot. The commercial has been shown in heavy rotation right from the start.
The idea for DR was to communicate that viewers no longer need their televisions - "Now you can watch live TV on your computer!"
Gimmick did the VFX, color grade and CGI for this television mayhem.

Carlsberg Sport "Wasp Race"
Gimmick's VFX team was awarded with the Carlsberg Sport 2010 campaign spot. The idea was to have Wasps race through a house, wreckaging everything in their path
Before shooting we prevized the whole spot with the director, in order to nail down all camera angles and which plates would be needed. Our VFX supervisor attended the shoot to help production getting the right shots for the VFX work and record lightning conditions.
Afterwards followed an extensive R&D period to develope the CGI wasps, before camera tracking the whole spot and finalizing the compositing.
